Danica Patrick in NASCAR
It is probably inevitable that the the beautiful Miss Patrick will make the marketing jump to NASCAR at some point; there is money to be had and you always follow the money.
I neither dispute Miss Patricks beauty or her skills as a driver; she is a beautiful woman and if she didn't have some skills no matter how beautiful she is she wouldn't have a ride.
That said I am so disappointed in the marketing tack she has taken for herself. She had the potential to be a great role model for young women in life in general and those who are interested in motor sports. Instead she is  are racing down the sex sells path headlong. I wouldn't want my daughter, niece or any young woman in my life that I care for to be modeling after the scantily clad Miss Patrick.
I'm not saying she should wear clothes that cover her from throat to wrist and ankle but there are some things that should be left ot the imagination and should be preserved strictly for her future husband.
Teaching young girls that beauty and the willingess to flaunt your body is a means to success instead of your skills is the way of our world and it is sad beyond words.
Do I condem Miss Patrick for her choices? Nope but I sure am saddened by them she deserves better for herself.

Lets be honest and get down to basics. First. Sex sells! Since the beginning of time, men want women and women need men. Like it or not, that's how most animals are wired. Men are far better equipped to be foragers. (Wage earners) Women are better at nesting and nurturing. Even with Danika's great ability as an Indy car driver, she can't help but flaunt her greatest asset. Her body and beauty. Women are wired to "strut their stuff". It's how females have always attracted their mates. It's even biblical. "Adam was lonesome, so God created woman to love and comfort man". It's instinctive. ALL women "dance" to strut and show their physical attributes to attract men. They can't help it. Like most women, Danika knows she will amass the greatest fortune by exploiting her beauty and playing to mens' lust. That's how we were created. IT HAS ALWAYS WORKED! It's nature, and there's nothing wrong with it. It seems that it's mostly genetic mutants, (***) who, being so unhappy about themselves, that object to other women showing off their beauty in contests, magazines, etc. We all know that in general, even skilled women can't earn the big money that men can. And just by showing some of her body, Danika is still preserving her chastity for her future husband. Actually, it will boost his ego having others know what a catch he's made. Unfortunately for Danika, she will never be a success as a driver in NASCAR's Sprint or Nationwide cars because of the huge amount of physical strength and stamina it takes to manage those cars. It is the most demanding sport in America today. And she is just too petite. It doesn't take half the strength to drive an Indy car, compared to NASCAR. That's probably why she hasn't appeared in "the big boys sport" yet, as she was supposed to have.
So xfrmd, whether you are a prude or ***, leave Danika alone to pursue as much money as she can. She is a great gal, and yes, she is still virtuous and a fine role model.
