NASCAR Power Poll
1. (1) Tony Stewart
Let’s see, Stewart led the most laps, won the race and increased his points lead. Yeah, I would say he remains number one for another week.

2. (2) Jimmie Johnson
Though Johnson has never won at Chicagoland, it has been a very good track to him over the years with only one finish outside the top-six in seven races.

3. (3) Jeff Gordon
Can’t fault Gordon for getting caught-up in wreck not of his own doing, but it sure would be nice to see him win another race sometime soon.

4. (4) Kurt Busch
Back-to-back top-five’s for the first time this year has this team blowing into the Windy City with a lot of momentum.

5. (6) Carl Edwards
Still winless on the year, but the early thinking here is that Edwards changes that this weekend.

6. (7) Denny Hamlin
This team is going to eventually breakthrough and win a race some time this year...right?

7. (5) Kyle Busch
You win with class and you lose with class, and Busch unfortunately does neither.

8. (10) Juan Pablo Montoya
It’s time to recognize Montoya for the great season he’s having.

9. (8) Kasey Kahne
Despite having the 18 car splattered on his windshield like a bug, Kahne still left Daytona with a top-15 finish.

10. (NR) Ryan Newman
This team is reverting to the form it showed early in the season, which is not a good thing if it has any aspirations of making the Chase for the Championship.
