Protect your ears

I have been to a few races at Lowe's and Richmond. The race at Martinsville was too LOUD!!!! We had great seats ....sat near the track, wore ears plugs but man it was LOUD. I noticed during the race that my right ear was hurting so I covered it with my hand also. I could not hear out of my right ear for days. It was because I had fluid already in that ear from allergies but the intense sound damaged my ear.

So please people wear ear plugs. They are no guarantee but at least you are doing something.

Boogty, Boogty

Let's go racing!!!

I went to my first two races last year and absolutely loved it. I brought two ear protection headsets and some earplugs. The engine sounds are very exciting, but I was still very surprised to see that lots of people (especially kids) don't wear hearing protection. I realize they are not comfortable but not intolerable.
