This is my first blog on Racing One and it certainly won't be the last. As you can tell, yes, I am a die-hard Dale Junior fan. I am from Alabama so my favorite track is.....duh! TALLADEGA! I absolutely love the superspeedway races. I guess I just like to speed.
I have been a fan for so many years that I'll date myself if I tell you how long. But, I'll put it this way, I've watched the Superbirds and Dodge Daytonas race.
But I digress, I would love to talk to other Junior fans, I also, like Tony Stewart and am proud to know that he will again be driving Chevys next year. I wish him all the luck.
I have written many blogs about they way non-Nascar fans criticize and call all fans "red-necks". And it seems that the non-fans always show up on Nascar sites.
We are a passionate fan and a patriotic fan and once we like a driver, well, that's that. We follow them where ever they may go. I know that I'll do just like this year, where Junior goes, I go. He's my driver and he's darn good at what he does. He's not is father and will never draw comparisons. He is a smart driver and he will win a championship and maybe more than one.(i pray) I am proud of the way he conducted himself last year and I am proud of the way he has run so far this year. He's proved he knows what to do when he gets behind the wheel. Junior, keep doing what you do best and the wins will come. Sandy
