So far so good
Thus far, this season is more than making up for the boring monotany of '07. Just about every week we've seen a variety of drivers in the top 10 and top 15, and all four manufacturers have a win under their belts. For once, Hendrick Motorsports has not run away from the field, leaving the fans to yawn and nod off. To the contrary, we've had exciting close finishes among a bigger group of drivers, some of whom, like Brian Vickers and Elliot Sadler, haven't been up top for quite some time. Roush-Fenway has caught up with their COT program as evidenced by Carl Edwards' three victories and strong finishes by Greg Biffle. Dale Jr. has come the closest he's ever been to getting another win, finishing in the top five just about every week and leading a lot of laps. Underdog teams like Michael Waltrip Racing, Furniture Row Racing, and Team Red Bull are making races consistently and getting decent finishes. There's much for a NASCAR fan to be excited about again. Let's see what happens at 'Dega!

Yeah... I'm pretty happy with the way the season has unfolded thus far. The competition is awesome and it's nice to see all the manufacturers able to compete.
