A higher court decided today that ATT could not display their logo on the hood of #31 car, thus siding with NASCAR. 

 NASCAR  insures certain sponsors make the field by not allowing all the fastest cars to qualify. It is called racing, but NASCAR decisions follow the $.

Can you imagine the fallout if #24 Dupont failed to qualify, thus putting it on the same playing field as the others?

What if: ATT,Alltel,UPS, NAPA, and a host of others issued the following joint statment. (ain't gonna happen)

We the above name companies are withdrawing our interests as soon as legally possible from NASCAR until NASCAR decides create a level playing field for all entries.
