No. 40 Car will be Missed
Although we have already missed it a few times this season, it will be strange to see No. 40 Dodge not at the track this weekend.

The No. 40 fell victim to a lack of sponsorship and was forced to close up shop for the time being.

Sterling Marlin helped make the No. 40 the staple car for the Ganassi Team by putting the car in victory lane four times, including the first win for Dodge in their return to the sport in 2001. Jamie McMurray also won behind the wheel of the car in just his second career series start.

Here’s hoping that Ganassi can bring back the car in the future.  But first, the performance has to be there.
