RCCA soon to be No More?
Well, upon trying to log into my account today, I was left with a huge suprise.  The login page I had been accustomed to seeing, was not loadable and since early this morning, has produced nothing but a white screen with the usual page temperarily unavailable at the top.  What I find strange, is that in all my years with this club, this is the first time I can ever remember that the  whole RCCA site was unavailable.  In the past after logging in there are times where I wont be able to get into my account, but this is the first time I could not even reach the RCCA log in page.  Then there is the matter of the service RCCA has been providing lately.  I understand that RCCA recently moved thier shipping facilities to North Carolina, but I find the amount of time it takes them to fill an order from the time the product is in stock until the the time it is out of the RCCA door rediculous.  In the past, the item would ship just about the same day as it came in stock.  Recently I had a Tony Stewart Office Depot elite come in stock, but take a week before the order was processed and I was sent an UPS confirmation for the order.  I have a Clint Bowyer car that has taken just as long to process and still hasnt shipped from the facility.  With all the changes that have taken place recently and the new and "improved" service they are providing, I am starting to see the writing on the wall that RCCA may soon be no more.  All I have to say is that MA/RCCA has done this to themselves.  They thought thier legions of members, including myself, would stick by them during this economic downturn.  Well that just hasnt been the case and the members are either going with the cheaper Action Platinum version of the cars, or have stopped collecting all together.  People Just car afford up to $250.00 (For a special finish car) dollars for a single die cast.  In the future, RCCA just might find that there is no fit for them for what sure is to be a different economy when things turn around.  If they are still around after this year for that matter.

Did you ever try calling RCCA and ask what the problem was with the site....Well I did...There was a server problem.......And everyone was notified in the Forum that there would be some shipping issues when they moved from PA to North Carolina.

I think you were frustrated with the site problem and you jumped to conclusions........But now the site is back up....Dr. Dicast and Thomas are answering questions for us.....RCCA is not going away.....You may want to retract your blog comments...LOL
