where is nascar heading?
What is Brian France and nascar  really doing to the sport? Let me tell you what they need to do! I have been a true fan of nascar for about 30 years. I live here in Daytona, so I kind of grew with the sport. The one true biggest mistake that has happened is nascar trying  dummy down the sport for the "new fans of nascar". I quess us old school fans of real side by side racing don't count anymore. So do something about that crappy new car that  can't even drive straight, and don't worry so much about the hollywood attitude and ego's in the booth and get back to the way it used to be, side by side, beating and banging, rubbing and bumbing hard driving races. That's probably why I like Kyle Busch so much. He brings the Cale's Dale's and waltrips(darrell) back to the future.  Good luck nascar, you need every bit of luck you can get..

I haven't been watching NASCAR as long as you, but I agree completely. NASCAR threw all the old fans under the bus. They blame low ratings and low attendance on the economy, but they will find out that the low ratings are due to their horrible management of a great sport. NASCAR sold their soul to the highest bidder. So much has changed for the worse I don't even know where to start. It's all just very frustrating for all the old fans to watch the sport decline into a spectacle.
