nascar commercial banquet ??
Well.....just watched the Nascar " commercial banquet " . Was not impressed at all. BORING!!  2 minutes of on-stage activity and 10 minutes of Jimmie Johnson and commercials. Corporate America has truly taken over what WAS one time a great sport. And Lowes.....talk about tooting your own company horn ! And Allstate...great Nascar sponsor??.....selling out the people in New Orleans and other coastal areas. But does anyone see that ? Oh no ! Did anyone remember the true pioneers of Nascar ??  I must have missed that too during all the commercials . One highlight of the whole mess....??     Mark Martin.....one true real individual with more CLASS than the entire room full of people.....the real Racer in a room full of "racing people" .....none can hold a candle (or Mark's driving gloves !) to him !! The true UNCROWNED CHAMPION !! Needless to say , will not waste time watching this next year.

Finally!  There is another person around here that agrees with me in the fact that Corpoirate America has taken over Nascar.  And everyone else said I was full of crap.  LOL!!!  Thanks, I needed some reinforcement by someone that could see past the commercials!
