NASCAR Power Poll
1. (1) Tony Stewart
Just another ho-hum race for your points leader, leading 40 laps, and leaving with yet another top-10, his 13th on the year.

2. (2) Jimmie Johnson
Think this team isn’t itching to get the Chase started so they can try and win their fourth-straight championship?

3. (3) Jeff Gordon
Loudon was exactly the kind of race this team needed to remind everyone that once the Chase rolls around the 24 should be on everyone’s short list of possible title contenders.

4. (4) Kurt Busch
While the rain prevented Busch from a possible win, he still accomplished a lot. He solidified his spot in the points, and he showed everyone that he has no qualms about banging fenders with the guys ahead of him in the points.

5. (9) Kyle Busch
A seventh-place finish Sunday is absolutely what this team needed to help stop the bleeding. Now, let’s build on this and work on the consistency.

6. (5) Carl Edwards
Still winless in 2009, which no one thought was possible heading into the year.

7. (6) Denny Hamlin
Speaking of winless, this team hasn’t won a race since last spring, which means they have gone longer without winning a race than Dale Earnhardt Jr. Ouch!

8. (NR) Kasey Kahne
Followed-up last weeks win with a 10th-place finish, which is precisely how you go about making the Chase.

9. (8) Mark Martin
The race being shortened due to rain did this team no favors, but than again you can say that about a lot of teams.

10. (10) Juan Pablo Montoya
Can Montoya make the Chase without having a top-five finish? Usted apostó que él puede, (Spanish for you bet he can) if he keeps running like he has been the past month.
