Completely Not About Racing Again

Good Morning All

My daughter turned 7 yesterday and I wrote this Poem for her and I felt like sharing it with you all. I haven't written Poetry in like 12 Years. When I read it to her she gave me the Biggest Hug and she has had me read it to her atleast 4 times. Anyway ignore if you don't feel like reading, I just wanted to share it.

Each Day One Thing I Can Count On

Your Smile Makes The World Shine Bright

Even When The Skies Are Grey

You Can Always Make My Heart Shine

In Your Very Own Special Way

The Day You Were Born

When I First Saw Your Face

I Thought I Must Be Dreaming

Blessed With This Precious Life

The Best Day Of My Life

Through The Years I Have Learned So Much

 Knowing How Blessed I Am To Have You

Watching You Grow Is The Most Amazing

Experience I Have Ever Had

I Will Always Stand By You

Be There, Beside You, Any Obstacles

That was really pretty. I'm sure she loved it.

I used to write poetry and actually won some awards.

Just have't been inspired in awhile.

I'm sure children are good inspiration.

Thank You. Yes children are a great inspiration. Along with my Photography I think I might start writing Poetry again. I have 2 girls 1 is 7 and the other is 4. I Homeschool the older one and it takes alot of time, but its the small things in life we enjoy we cannot forget about, for me Racing and Photography are at the top of the list.

Way cool, bornon! I wasn't lucky enough to be able to have kids so it's always nice when others share their special momments.

Life Span
 
On the first day, God created the dog and said:

"Sit all day by the  door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in
or walks past. For this, I  will give you a life span of twenty years."

The dog said:  "That's a long time to be barking. How about only ten
years and I'll give you  back the other ten?"

So God agreed.

On the second day, God created the monkey and said:
"Entertain people, do tricks, and make them laugh. For this, I'll give
you a twenty-year life span."

The monkey said:  "Monkey tricks for twenty years?
That's a pretty long time to perform. How about I give you back ten like
the Dog did?"

And God agreed.

On the third day, God created the cow and said:
"You must go into the field with the farmer all day long and suffer
under the sun, have calves and give milk to support the farmer's family.
For this, I will give you a life span of sixty years."

The cow said:  "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for
sixty years. How about twenty and I'll give back the other forty?"

And God agreed again.

On the fourth day, God created man and said: "Eat, sleep, play, marry
and enjoy your life.  For this, I'll give you twenty years."

But man said:  "Only twenty years?

Could you possibly give me my twenty, the forty the cow gave back, the
ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back; that makes
eighty, okay?"

"Okay," said God, "You asked for it."

So that is why the first twenty years we eat, sleep, play and enjoy
ourselves. For the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our
family. For the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the
grandchildren.

And for the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at
everyone.

Life has now been explained to you...

I Loved That!!!!!!! Dont go to the Fan Cafe thing. They are so mean. I went there yesterday on the Pictures of Yourself Thread and asked how to do it because I could not figure out how. They totally attacked me, a*******! If ya want check it out its the 26th page on the Fan Cafe Pictures Of Yourself Thread. THEY ARE MEAN!!!!!!
