I am a very big fan of Chad Blount. I have been behind him for years watching him get to cup. I can't believe that a top notch team has not picked him up. Man he can sure drive a car and great for PR. All I can say is good luck Chad!!!! I just wondered if more Blount fans are on here?

Does he have cash or a fat walleted sponsor in his pocket that will come along with him to a team? That is more important than driving talent nowadays. There are a million great drivers out there chomping at the bit, but there are very few sponsors willing to pony up the bucks. You have to be a decent driver with cash nowadays. Sometimes not even that is good enough. Look at Brendan Gaughn. He brought bucks and they put him in a crappy car, gave him a half assed "shot" at cup and then kicked him to the curb. He's a good driver and quite articulate and photogenic as well. So what's the magic formula? I can't figure it out either............
