Congratulations to
Princess4jr on winning her 2nd race of the season! 9 players have now won multiple races this season. This was the typical plate race where scoring was hard to come by. Jgordonandjohnsonfan's points lead shrunk a little. Texasterry was the only player to finish top 2 in both Talladega races this season.
Notes on the wins championship follows:
*****ATTENTION TO JGORDONANDJOHNSONFAN & WINDCHILL:
Jgordonandjohnsonfan has the opportunity to clinch the wins championship with this week's Texas race.....however, if Windchill can win these remaining 3 races he could win the wins championship, based on the fact they'd be tied in wins, and Windchill has the most 2nd place finishes between the 2 players so far this season. Even though LTO has as many wins as Windchill right now, let me explain why LTO isn't factored into this situation: yes, if LTO would win the remaining 3 races, he would wind up tied in wins with Jgordonandjohnsonfan, and, yes. the 2 players are tied in the number of 2nd place finishes, however, Jgordonandjohnson has the most 3rd place finishes between the 2 players. And since LTO would have to win the last 3 races of the season to force a tie, he obviously wouldn't be able to get anymore 3rd place finishes.
You may recall we did this last year, and we're going to do it the same way this year.....to give both players (Jgordonandjohnsonfan & Windchill) a fair shot at the wins championship, I'm going to ask both of you to do the following for this week's Texas race: I want you to submit your selections to me via Private Message. Then, when I close the contest this Sunday at 3:15p.m. Eastern, I'll make a post that lists each of your selections, to reveal to everyone who you chose.
