This is what happens when you only race half of the year and field less than 20 cars most of the time, people forget the series exists.

I propose a Senior IRL league to replace the fiasco also known as the "VISION"....
Line up Mears, Rutherford, AJ, Pancho Carter, all the Unsers, all Vukovichs and all the Bettenhousens you can find.....Arie can also line up if he wants...

No need to turn out the lights in the IRL, they burned out long ago. Most recent evidence of this is Ryan Hunter-Reay winning the Rookie of the Year title despite running just over one third of the schedule. The talent pool is thinner than it has ever been and promises to be even weaker in 2008. Or course that is assuming there will even be a 2008 IRL season.
