I had theNASCAR coverage from Phoenix on today. The announce staff was talking about the COT and its acceptance
(or lack off) by some drivers and fans. Mike Joy brought up
the Rolex Series DP's and how they differed from what sportscar racing fans had grown up watching. He also pointed out that the DP's pioneered many of the features on
the COT. He said that though things got off to a slow start with the DP's, things are coming around and he expects the
same for the COT. Good publicity!
