Yes, outlaw_fan_7_8.... The Late Models have a huge fan following every bit as passionate as the Sprint fans. I think maybe some other boards, such as
www.4m.net , is where you will find a lot of them posting.

Yes. 4m is probably the biggest late model forum. They have other stuff on there as well. But mostly late model talk. They have a sprint car board but it rarely sees much input.

Late models are my next favorite type of racing, winged sprints first, late models next, then NHRA. NASCAR is in the top five, but NASCAR in person isn't even in my top 20. About as boring in person as those huge speedboats that run on big lakes.

........BUT they will be in Belleville Ks on June 17th (fathersday), and I'll be there! A friend of mine worked for a WoO sprint team for several years and knowes his racetracks, and said once that Belleville is one of the top 5 fastest 1/2 miler's around the USA. Ive been to Belleville several times and can't wait for the BIG BOYZZZ to show there stuff!

o_f_7_8... I believe there were 36 late models for the WoO Show last night @ Virginia Motor Speedway and walking through the pits I do not recall seeing anyone sporting the Mopar logo. Great racing and VMS is a SUPER facility !!!

I watched most of the late model races (WoO & Lucas) on Speed. During one telecast, think it was the WoO and the announcer said they run motors of 366 to 440 cubic inches depending ont he track. What the devil was he talking about. Don't they have a c.i. rule same for all tracks. The guy didn't explain what he was talking about as for as the motor size differences.

don't know the engine size, assume its same as the sprints - 410, not sure, but did watch the Eldora late model show on Sunday tv, might have been a month old show??, but Tony Stewart ran 2nd or 3rd during entire feature until trying a slide job on the leader, that didn't work, took them both out. Good tv.

UsArmy,
You were watching the Subway 50 race at Eldora Speedway and the accident you are referring to is when Stewart did the Eldora slide job when he wrecked into Chub Frank 1* and from the way it looked Chub wasn't to happy with him

The super late models don't usually have a max motor size limit. Which is ok because they can't get all of that horse power to the track anyway. Now if they had a big wing on top. Then I'd say that would change things.
But I saw that tv race also. Stewart didn't quite have Chub cleared enough to take his line away from him. Chub had every right to be mad.

MOPAR is running in the WoO Late Models. Earl Pearson drives for Bobby Labonte and the car does have MOPAR stickers on both sids. He's the guy who won that Eldora race talked about here, in which Chub Frank and Tony Stewart tangled toward the end,----I think he was the guy who won.. And you are right, Chub, even though I guess he and Tony are friends, was very unahppy.

i noticed that on tv to (the mopar) and got to looking into it and Pearson is not a Outlaw. he has been running the lucas oil series with some WOO races. and icing on the cake for me it is part owned by labonte.
