I agree because we know Chad Knaus,the crew chief of Johnson, was caught cheating at the first of the year. And didn't Gordon(or his crew chief)also get fined for cheating of some kind. So that goes to show there is a bad apple in the bunch! I know some others were also fined for minor things so why does the great Hendricks driver(#5) get to be excused? They put in words so no one will understand exactly what they are talking about so it will look as if no rule was violated. When did an illegal manifold become legal to put on the cars? BS!

When the manifold was legal to begin with. Unfortunately you skipped English class, but let me translate it for you:
"The current NASCAR Busch Series manifold rules place extra emphasis on
a
strictly visual determination of whether or not too much material has
been extracted in the plenum area during the polishing process,"
Meaning, they don't use a tool to decide how much material was removed during polishing, they simply "eyeball" the manifold and try to decide if too much was removed or not. Now if you're dealing in thousandths of an inch, I would say it would be quite difficult to decide if the manifold was legal, just by eyeballing it.
