Saturday I turned on the AMA bike races at the big dirt mile. 130mph bikes. Now those guys carry some big rocks. But it also took me back to when the WoO ran there and the incredible speeds they reached. I believe one year Sammy was disqualified for running skirts around the nerfs to give more aerodynamics. Anyone else remember back then. I believe Sammy was clocked at somewhere around 160mph. I think they ran with the super mods. I think Jimmy Spencer was the hot shoe in those.

I thought the race they showed on Saturday was from Illinois? They don't run at Syracuse anymore due to the TERRIBLE track conditions. I'm ready for them to be at Hagerstown in a couple weeks, AWESOME track to see the bikes run on!

You know Butcher I think your right. But man that track looks like Syracuse. But I do remember them always running that mile in Illinois come to think of it. There is two things i would like to see the WoO do again and that is run a mile race and go back to Bristol. Have fun at Hagerstown. Post and let us know how the show was.
