Why won't the animations work in avatars???  They work find in tag line but not in avatars.

Sorry if this has already been bought up, yeah I was to lazy to look through all the posts....

I think it has but no one has answered that one either. I'm interested to know the answer myself. I mean I know that the av size is now 100 x 100 but not how many kb or anything like that.

Don't remember if it was the commish or admin said they believe it's because our animated avi's are probably .gif files. I check and my pathetic looking spinning 8 ball that no longer spins is. This f*cking new and not improved board automatically changes them to .jpeg files. And when it does it only catches the first frame of our avi's and castrates it there. My 8 ball won't spin and speedmike's pour shark drowned because it couldn't swim! Another sad day at the forum!!!!!

I can't seem to figure out how to animate my avatar.

I've read both threads and still don't get it. I'm not the sharpest knife in the cupboard.

Any help would be appreciated.

Life is not worth being upset over a stupid motionless avatar, get a grip. Just comply with the software and get one that isn't supposed to move....just damn.

Hey Illuminati, I see your Lady still isn't dancing so you must not have been helped! I'm not trying to be a wise gal but are you sure it was their avi that was antimated? To my knowledge our antimated avi's are .gif files. The new site automatcally changes them to .jpeg files. By doing this it only uses the first frame of the .gif file and leaves the rest of it behind. So alas my spinning 8Ball won't spin, Mike's shark won't swim and your Lady won't dance!! // However some have found a way to insert the antimated file to the signature part of our posts and they work like they are supposed to. I don't know how it's done but if you contact Racing Rules, speedmike or nextelmom they should be able to help you. Usually you will find Rules and mom hanging out at the Fantasy Racing forum and I think mike surfs all around. Hope this helps you a little!!
