Brad, will be interesting to see how many cars show with the date change. Hope your weather warms up and you get the full race schedule in.

Looks like we'll end up with 105 - 110 cars. Some car owners that lost their shoes to Charlotte are sticking with the Short Track Nationals with last minute "shoe-ins". Although, losing TMAC, Tony Stewart Racing and Kasey Kahne Racing to Charlotte stings a little. The weatherman says clear sailing through next Monday. Shirley will be here Wednesday night. Sammy is running the Short Track Nationals - for sure.
The last unknowns are Randy Hannagan and Curt Michael...

Originally, it looked like the date change had knocked out the Jesse Hockett Racing #77, that was to be driven by California driver Kyle Hirst. Hirst had prior committments for this weekend. However, that seat will now be occupied by an up and coming teenager, Kyle Larson, of Elk Grove, CA. He's coming off a 3rd place finish in the Kaeding #99 in the Finale race at the Tulare Trophy Cup (a 360 race) a week ago and he got 5th place overall in the California Golden State Challenge 410 series recently completed. Kyle has been really impressive this year in Ca. Brad, you will be imperessed on how smooth he is. I hope Kyle's trip back east goes better for him than Cody Darrah's trip out west went!

The weather has been perfect all week and will continue to be until next week. We are on the verge of drying out in Central Arkansas after 25 rainy days in October. The track should be smooth and blistering fast with multiple grooves - including the cushion for the rim riders (Sammy, Hockett, Crawley, Stewart, etc.)

Sat in LR for a few days but glad we came out to the Oval Nats! What a show!!
