What do you think about the signing of Zach Thomas?

I think he's got a year or three left. He has been a great player for Miami. I'm going to miss seeing him in a Dolphin uniform.

I am glad that he didn't sign with the Patricheats, though.

I have always liked Zach Thomas, even when he was at Yosimite Sam U.

I hope he continues to be a great player for Dallas.

 

 

That being said, I don't think they needed him, and I don't think he improves them any...other than possibly depth-wise.

Dallas needs another RB, speedy one who doesn't get tackled by yard markers like Julius Jones; and they need help at safety...I like Roy Williams, but he can't cover and didn't hit last year like he used to.  Could use more depth at corner also.  A young, good, possession-type receiver with a little speed would help also.  Terry Glenn is old and worn out.  TO is a hoss, when he's not dropping balls, but he's getting old too.

And I don't know about the offensive line.....they drove the ball on the G-men about 3 drives in a row...something like 15+ play drives......and seemed to wear THEMSELVES out instead of the G-men defense.  WTF [:wtf]????

Good move by them.Patriots talked Seau to play for them and although not the force he was still had good years with them.Going to a platoff team will get him energized!

I don't know. Concussions and migranes? Sounds like damaged goods to me.

But if he wants to stand on the sideline and listen to the soup slosh around in his head, be my guest...

From what I understand Zach didn't want to go on IR. That was a decision made by the coaches. He played the good soldier, but commented privately during training camp that he hoped the new coaching staff knew what they were doing.

Cam Cameron never got Thomas or Jason Taylor to buy into his approach..... not completely at least.

If Zach Thomas, who I consider to be a very intelligent and smart football player, thought he was ready to play, he was probably ready to play.

I'm thinking he will be just fine. Time will tell though. Age is his biggest hurdle. He doesn't have a history of migraines or concussions, unlike Trent Green.

You remember Trent Green, right? He of the concussion ridden past? Cam Cameron's boy, in place of Daunte Culpepper.

We all know how that one worked out. Connections here anyone? Hmmmm.....
