Danica "Lucky Dog" Patrick is into using drugs!!!!
6/2/2009 5:23 PM

In a recent interview Danica stated that she is in favor of abusing drugs.

"In an interview with Dan Patrick published in Sports Illustrated, Danica Patrick was asked, if she could take a performance-enhancing drug and not get caught, would she do it if it allowed her to win the Indianapolis 500.

"Well, then it's not cheating, is it? If nobody finds out?" she said.

Dan Patrick responded: "So you would do it?"

Danica's answer: "Yeah, it would be like finding a gray area. In motorsports, we work in the gray areas a lot. You're trying to find where the holes are in the rule book."

She later claimed she was joking. It's difficult to tell what her frame of mind was at the time of her original statement.
I could see how she might consider the questin not even worhty of a serious response, but that reporter must have thought he just got lobbed a high slow one to knock out of the park.

Regardless if she was serious of joking, it was a a very careless response.
Although I consider her a decent IRL driver,  I think a switch to either NASCAR or F1 would be a disaster.

Upon further review, Danica's comments about abusing drugs may not be wrong afterall.  Maybe drug use is the way to make it to the top of the Indy Racing League.

"Many would remember the 1980s as the first decade without Tony Hulman, the decade in which his wife made her mark in the business world and another decade of expansion for the family. For Tony George, they marked his switch from college student to speedway king.

The day Methodist released her, she filed for divorce, seeking use of a Mercedes, custody of their son, use of their home and financial support. The judge preliminarily granted custody to Tony and ordered him to pay $650 a month for Lisa's apartment, utilities and car repairs, let her continue to obtain gas at the speedway and pay her $400 a week plus her $125-a-week speedway salary. The yearlong court proceedings included testimony from both that they had previously used cocaine and marijuana."

If coke and weed made Tony George king of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway who knows what some 'roids or HGH might do for Danica "Lucky Dog" Patrick.

coke and weed are not going to make anyone any better at anything, especially racing.
Steroids for Danica? Well, if she plans on man handling a stock car she may need them. Who cares.

My God, Danica was toying with the media, they sure deserve it like so many followers.

I doubt very much that the real race car drivers of the IRL would even think of using drugs.  Only in NASWRECK. They think they are still running moon shine while they run their figure eights.

With her my $hi+ dont stink mind set she is a sittin duck for something like that to happen. I can handle it is what most people with subtance abuse issues think-- thats part of the denial. What is she gonna do without Tony? Put V-8`s in the cars and have drivers who have earned their way to the speedway drive the cars. AFFORDABLE I think is how they get this thing going again. If a V-8 in a stock car can last for 500 + miles and go up to 200 MPH then it will work in a Indy Car. How would Jac Haudenschild or Tim Kaeding look in a Indy Car. Until that happens this race addict cant get into what they are doing now--I have lost so much respect for IRL---and pushing a good lookin chick so more people will watch is sick and wrong.
