The home where my mom lives is without power but they are running on a generator. They have the residents confined to certain floors to contain the cooling and to conserve energy.
I talked with my former husband this morning and while he has power, many areas across the city do not. When I read that some Schnucks stores are closed and Boeing sent people home early, I KNEW it had to be a whopper. I can't say I miss the tornadoes. At least there you have basements! I miss having a basement.
