Not going to be televised. It's always a good race. Probably too much hassle with the State Fair going on at the same time.

The facility, like the race in Berlin Michigan, doesn't lend itself for TV. I'm really bummed because I was supposed to be there (and at Michigan tonight) but a family problem arose so I was unable to make the two races. I wasn't so bummed about Michigan but I really wanted to watch them in Illinois. Oh well, I'll be at the Milwaukie mile next weekend.........

SPEED has done a delayed broadcast of several ARCA races from Springfield.  It always seemed to be a case of I "happened" upon the broadcast.   Don't know if they will show this years or not, but I hope so.

It's not on the schedule GTM. and there were no film crews there lol. They didn't show up Milwaukee from yesterday either  which surprised me........

ARCA trucks was @ eldora(dirt track) lastnight.  I was none impressed...1/2 mile track only turning 21 second laps...latemodels was turning 15's  They need more rear end weight. they had to get out of the gas about half way down the front or backstretch or take chances of spinning out in the corners...And I think the mud took its toll on the trucks as about half the field dropped out of a 50 lap race...

There ain't a whole lot of money to be made (and therefore spent) on the ARCA trucks. No sponsors........ no purses.............
