Ryan Newman - No drivin loser

you would think he would know how to pass cars instead of just running over them.  i hope that 04 gets back out and wrecks him.

Pretty shotty move, looks like his engine is overheating now, 250 temp, may have sealed his own fate there.

What's up with Kenseth taking out the 90? That was dirty looking too.

Why don't they just weld a dozer blade on the front of every car Newman drives.  What, did he think that was Stewart instead of Hamlin in the 20?

Get over it. Hamlin had it coming...he spun Sauter earlier and almost spun Lamar and some others. Lets complain about everyone who spun someone...it's Bristol what do you expect?

I could care less to be honest with you.  Still needs a dozer blade though.

Sorry Spectre, wasn't goin after you. I took Oh yeah's post (wow interesting 2 posts tonight on Newman wrecking someone as the first two posts...I wonder if this is someone else) and put the Hamlin thing together...I wasn't telling you to get over it directly...my fault.

But I love how only certain drivers get singled out. Lots of guys spun people out tonight lol. If I was Newman and having the kind of season I was having this year (at least in Cup) yeah I'd probably be getting pretty fed up with the season, even though it was a Busch race. He had a top 3 car, probably frustrated knowing he was going to finish without a top 5. I'm not saying it was an accident I think the Hamlin one was on purpose.

The first one that wrecked Reed was unfortunate, but the closing rate looked awfully fast on that incident with McClure. Bristol is a damn tough place when you have a car like McClure who is a bunch slower than the leader and he just comes off two and is suddenly right on his bumper. It sucked for Sorenson, who I also root for, but I have hard time believing Newman wanted to ruin his own car that early on with a car that was a lot slower. And it's surprising because McClure was 10th quick in first practice today, but not even close to fast in 2nd practice or qualifying.

My question is why isn't Newman getting the performance out of that car like he was last year?  When Busch drives it, it seems to be the dominate car on the track, no matter where it's at.  I don't understand.  Does Newman need a change of scenery?

their are slower cars out there every week, but you dont just run over them.  it couldnt have been an easier situation for newman to pass and go around the 04 as they were not in any traffic on the track.

The problem wasn't that cars ran into each other at Bristol.  The problem was Newman flat out ran over a Busch-only driver, when there was plenty of room to go around him.  The problem was that Kenseth put the kid in the 90 in the wall, when Matt was running for fun, and Leicht for points.  The problem was that Denny Hamlin ran over about 15 Busch-only drivers (which was kind of amusing keeping track, because obviously he didn't want anyone he's racing tonight mad at him).  Although karma, through Ryan Newman, paid him back.  The problem with that is that Hamlin is running for points and Newman wasn't, as was innocent victim Clint Bowyer there, and just like last week when Carl Edwards who was running for points got turned by a driver running for fun.

That's where the problem is - the guys who are cherry picking races in part-time cars running over guys (whether Cup or Busch-only drivers) who are running for either driver or owner points.

Your man Newman will never be a Nascar Nextel Cup champion.  He does not understand what it takes to become a champion.  He does not have any respect for the other drivers he competes with. I know this is "Just Bristol", but he was driving with his head cut off.  There is no doubt that Ryan is a very talented driver, but he needs to understand the mental part of racing, when he figures that out he may become a champion.

It's Bristol. You have to do the bump and run to pass most of the time. And it's not the drivers fault if the other driver can't keep the car from spinning from getting bumped.

it's still a fact that newman was wreckin' several peeps...maybe he needs to learn how to race...wreckin' 'em isn't going to get you anywhere...but then half the field PULLED OVER for Havawreck to move forward...

Respect. Harvick doesn't drive through people nor does he make it difficult for everyone to get past him if he's slower. People were moving last night because they listened to their spotters and they let them know Harvick was the fastest car on the track. Newman pounded a guy going a lap down. Then proceeded to dump someone else with 7 to go. That doesn't command respect from fellow drivers and will never get people to move when he's coming. He'll get raced like he races.
