Just wondering how many think a whole five game suspension is enough of a penalty for such an act or do you think an animal like act like that should get him something more meaningful.

Five games out of 16 is more than a quarter of a season, and is worth around $100,000 to him.

But I still would've liked Woody Paige's suggestion of a full year and 6 figures.

might be one of the largest non-substance abuse (even then, those are typically four games) suspensions i've seen.  i'd say it's more than enough.

Just to hear "five games" seems like it might be too leaniant. However, as ARK said, it is more than a quarter of the season. It is the equivalent of about a 50 game suspension for a baseball player.

But like I said earlier, plenty.

It's adequate.

Except the 5 game suspension should start whenever Gurode starts playing again, and Haynesworth shouldn't play in the meantime.

Haynesworth is the Titan that kicked off his helmet and intentionally stepped on Gurode's (Cowboy Center)face during the Tennessee-Dallas NFL game last week.
