Kraemmer pretty much started big-time car race simulation. So....not sure calling it an rFactor rip-off is accurate.
My PC is a little short in the video card category....trying to decide whether to upgrade to a better AGP card (no PCI express on my motherboard), or upgrade the PC.

Ugrade the PC. You need a motherbord that can handle the graphic card.

Yep. That's what I decided too.
For the first time since 1988, I'm going to be running a brand computer at home.
Got a quad-core ordered from Dell. Should be here in a couple of weeks.

Ok, I signed up over the weekend and have run several races.
I'm still on the first level, running the legends cars at South Boston, but.....It's the best sim online that I've run.
They employ a "safety rating" in which you have to achieve a certain rating to advance to more advanced series. Seems to help keep out some of the idots that constantly overdrive.
I did get a new PC and an ATI 4850 video card, it runs smoothly. I did have to slightly lower some of the visuals, it was warping a little in races, but other than running MUCH more smoothly, I didn't notice any difference.
