Have you ever tried to throw a trashcan away?
It's dang near impossible.
Took me 5 weeks, and spray painting "This trash can is trash" on the side of it in neon letters on each side and the bottom, with arrows pointing to the words to get the sanitation engineers to finally take it....
...after I ran out there and physically threw it back onto their sanitation recovery vehicle before they drove off. Dude had picked it up, and put it back down again in the yard.

Why didn't you put a trash bag around it??? Seems to me like that would have been easier...
