In The End
10/22/2007 3:54 AM

My only access to an English language broadcast of F1 comes from England's ITV, and after having to listen to Hamilton being the 'Golden Boy' all summer I was honestly hoping for an Alonso or Raikkonenn being crowned the champion in the end.
Now, I almost feel sorry for Lewis. The same British press who sang his praise all summer has turned on him like a pack of hyenas. Eurosport listed him as one of the greatest chokers of all time.
If anyone choked it's Ron Dennis and the McLaren team. They made a bad call in China leaving him out on canvas exposed tires in the wet. In Brazil it appears they downloaded Alonso's race program into Lewis' car. You know, the program with the automatic re-boot on lap eight. It probably came with the standard message, "Your McLaren Race program has encountered a serious error and must close. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you Fernando. Please select 'OK' to restart."
Here's hoping to NASCARisq appeal result.

I think Kimi just preformed better in a better car at the end of the season. Im not sure if it was McLarens fault in the China GP Lewis had less fuel and wore out his tires before his next stop. Raikkonen had more fuel and his tires did not show chords. I think Hami pushed to hard. And I dont feel sorry for him after being abole to get off light with tire infrations and disobeying the team in Hungary.
