My wife found this and we thought we would share it since the anniversary is just a month away.

Great pixs and info. Thanks.
That reminds me of something I had forgotten. I went to high school and graduated in Kaneohe, Hawaii in 1961. My girl friend's father worked for the telephone company and he had to work that day. He said he was on a telephone pole when the Japanese started bombing. I asked him what did he do. He said he stayed on top of that pole the whole time. He said he was too scared to get down and he figured that was a safe a place as any. And he had quite a view.

You are quite welcome.
The quality of the photos is pretty good especially considering the camera and how long it was before the film was devolped.
You think any of the pilots spotted him and felt sorry for him up there?
Kaneohe Oahu to Ohio sounds like a military move and a real climate change.

Thanks for the link - these photos are great! How wonderful that they were found and are in such great shape! I visited Pearl Harbor when I was in Hawaii, a very sobering place...
