Hey King,
I saw this thread in the NASCAR forum so did you import it over here or did RacingOne do this?
I've seen the commericals but not the show. Reality shows just don't interest me at all. Never got into watching train wrecks but I'll admit John would be entertaining at times and depending on what they show we might even get to see the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I finally caught part of a show over the weekend and I actually feel sorry for the man. Love him or Hate him, he's an amazing story from a business standpoint and he's so passionate about what he's done and where he's going and I guess maybe other than Ashley, the other girls don't seem to be buying in to what he has built. John also needs to come to grips that these girls may pick a different path than he did because they saw firsthand a Dad that was somewhere else while they grew up and this resentment may have them not wanting to do the same thing to their kids that he had to do as they grew up. It's always sad to see someone so publically successful but privately their lives have been torn apart. I always wonder why would someone open up their lives like this but at the same time making it so public forces you to talk about and that may be theraputic and helpful in the end. Ironic that John and his wife have been apart for 7 years but no divorce and he talks with her privately alot so maybe when John does step out of the cockpit, those fences may still be there to get mended. Hope so for their and the family's sake!

I taped every episode so far, seen the first 2. It's very entertaining. No one might believe me but I actually had the idea for this show about 2 months before it was announced. I've met John on a couple of occasions at autograph sessions. A really nice guy. I gave him a piece of artwork I did of one of his funny cars. The next time I saw him he told me it was in his museum. Hopefully Ashley will be with him the next time he comes to my area for autographs.

Fun show. Good looking daughters.
If you know anything about Drag Racing, the editting is garbage. They flash back and forth between John's fuel stuff and the limited cars that that younger daughters run. Much of it is obviously staged for the cameras, like the "private conversations" John and his wife have.
Isn't Ashley married? Why do they always make it look like she lives at home with mom?
Anyways, I'm still watching. JF is just so out there, that I can't look away. It's like a car crash.

I don't think Ashley is married, there is another daughter, Adria, that is married to Robert Hight, but they have never had her on the show yet that I have seen.

I get it now. I knew that Hite was the son-in-law. Didn't know until yesterday that there is a 4th daughter. Wonder why they don't show the other daughter. I guess it is like Ozzy Osbourne's other daughter that never showed up on that show. (God, do I watch too much reality TV?)
I still can't believe that Ashley, a 23 year old pro racer lives with her mom. Much of the show looks staged, but it is still way better than that chopper "reality show" that was on Speed.
The one with Rick Fairless where the non-actors were trying to act. I'm sure most of what they showed was stuff that actually happened in the shop, but you have to catch that stuff live for it to be funny. Average joes trying to re-enact funny stuff doesn't work.
I'm still giving Driving Force a chance. Maybe 'cause I like to look at Ashley....that, and John Force cracks me up.

I've enjoyed the show sor far. John is a really funny guy on the show. I got to meet Ashley in Seattle last week. She was real cool and took pictures with everyone. We gave her some funny car jewlery and a dragster necklace. I hope it brightened up her day a little bit! The other younger girls don't seem to be quite as friendly as Ashley. I don't think they are use to the fans just yet. it's probably just a matter of time before they are all rock stars like their dad!

I've watched a couple of episodes but the show last night was really good. John had to go to the Dr. for a stress test. His family certainly learned not to play April Fools jokes on him.

The guy is a walking case of A.D.D if you ask me, but he's funny as he**. You have to admire a guy who has 13 championships.
