Can I get some still?

Hey, thinking about eldora this year as we have wanted to check it out for years.  Got any "spare ground" for a tent or something?.  Where is the nearest airport that we could get into "big airport" that is??

Maybe it is to late but I checked out your link for the 96 race and got real stoked...let me know.

Left you a note about the coffee. Tastes great. We've had it the last three mornings. Now I see why people pay a little more. Go on to the Eldora web site and click on races and tickets. If we could of got our boxes this year you and your wife would have had free tickets on me. But I couldn't get them so we're sitting in the South Terrace. Tried to get the campsite on either side of me but they were gone also. Nice airport in Dayton. About 50 miles from Eldora. Motels in Greenville, about 20 miles from the track. I've flown out of Dayton going to Calif. and Texas and Florida so they cover pretty much everywhere. We live about 90 miles from Eldora. We're taking the camper up on the previous Tuesday for The Old Spice Summer Sizzler that Tony, Kasey And Dave Blaney race in. Also motels in Piqua and surrounding areas. Frizzy might be able to tell you where she stayed. I think she said she came out a few years ago. One thing you have to remember. Eldora is in the middle of nowhere. I mean nowhere. Blink your eyes and you'll miss Rossburg. North Star has one traffic signal. That's Annie Oakleys' hometown. Check out the sitting chart. We're sitting in the South Terrace, row 2 with seats in the 40s. You have to bring your own lawn chairs. Hope you make it. I'll buy you a drink at our famous bar.

Hey    thanks for the info.  I will get on the site asap.  If we come we would come out for the tony & kasey show and probably stay a week or so.  Will keep you posted.

Can you give me some more info on the south terrace, kind of like festival seating but marked rows?

When you click on Eldora Speedway and the pix opens up, that is the S Terrace. Row 1,2 and 3 are walkways with numbered spots for lawn chairs. I personally think the view of the racing is better from here but that's me. You bring your lawn chair to sit in. You're more crowded here than a box in the N. Terrace where you bring your chair also. The pixs I took at the USAC race were where we sitting In the N. Terrace Row 3. These 2 pixs I'm posting now were taken from where we'll be sitting at the King's Royal, S. Terrace Row 2 seats btween # 42 to # 64. Good view of the cars coming into turn 1 and coming out of turn 2. Of course there is always the grandstand. For some excitment sit in the row closest to the track next to the starter.  Did that one year with the granddaughter when she was about 10. She loved it, scared the hell out of me. Don't forget The Brad Doty Classic is on that Wednesday night at Limaland. Three buses leaving from Eldora.












It's a farther walk to the bar from the S. Terrace and you have to fight the mob.

I stayed with MommaNex when I visited Eldora. Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch a sprint race there.... just the late models. Had I not been staying with MommaNex...... I probably would have come out two days earlier to watch the WoOs run.... but oh well. There's always next time.

Great video Frizzy. Watched you're other one of Tony and Kasey in Wash. yesterday.  Got tickets for the Outlaws in 2 weeks at Eldora. I'm not building any stores this month so going to get some racing in.
