Actually, it had nothing to do with those.

Kalifornia already had granted gays in domestic relationships the same rights and priviledges as married couples, such as divorce and child support.


Plus, this ruling overturned the expressed will of the people, as this was already voted on.

What about the majority of voters in California (one of the most progressive states in the union, I might add) that said they didn't want any part of this... with their vote.

I guess their civil rights end where the courts say the civil rights of those practicing unnatural and deviant behavior begin.
