My guess, a total post meter. I only have 550+ posts, and am only a 1 green box. Be for example has over 14K posts, and she's all green.

The little green boxes are post count. However it will be changed to titles like Rookie, Busch, Cup... yada yada yada...
The little people are for people who are currently online. If I'm not mistaken.
