T3Logic:I can not remember exactly when he went below the yellow line, but I believe he was either had a nose out front or up along the truck and got forced down.
There is no doubt that he went below the line but did he do it to keep from wrecking. Going 3 wide in that part of the track I could see how that would be an argument for both sides.
Hey T3, JB wasn't forced down there, it was a deliberate move on his part. He said so in the post race interview.
And Kvapil made no move to block either of them. It looked crowded because it was three wide.
He was definitely below the yellow line while making the pass.
Think about NASCAR's reactions to this kind of behavior in the past. I've seen Tony Stewart pushed below the yellow line, yet still penalized. I've seen Junior ride the yellow line at Talladega to make a pass for the lead, and the win and he wasn't penalized.
As per normal, NASCAR is very subjective in their rules enforcement.
Like I said, the yellow line rule is stupid.
