Ive been a fan of Randy Houser for a while now. He has some really great music on his new cd, especially this one song I really like Anything Goes. I hope his video makes it on the CMT Power Picks tomorrow at http://www.cmt.com/shows/dyn/cmt_power_picks/series.jhtml. But people need to vote for it if theyre watching tomorrow at 10am est at least that’s what it says on his myspace. Just wanted to share something interesting from one Randy Houser fan to another.

I am a rock n' roll girl at ♥.
I love live music, love to support the local talent in Houston and in Dallas.
I mainly listen to metal, hard rock, classic rock, alternative and progressive. Although I do have a vast collection of music, from Sinatra and Andrea Bocelli to Metallica and Triumph.
LOL!

At the moment I'm going through a retro phase.
I've been listening to J Geils, Journey, Molly Hatchet and .38 Special, Spoon, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Psychadelic Furs and The Replacements.
I've also been listening to some new stuff:
The Toxic Airborn Event, The New Pornographers, Vampire Weekend, Death Cab For Cutie, The Faint.
I just got some Jace Everett because I am hooked on the show 'True Blood' and his 'Bad Things' is the theme. Highly recommend this song if you like heavy blues country.

I'm like Maineiac and E3, I like the classsic rock and todays country. I also like to listen to the oldies and have a trip back into the past. My son-in-law has a little rock band down in Reno called "Smokin Joe Bannanas. They have a web site you can hear a CD they put out. Smokinjoebananna.com might want to google it in case I got the addy wrong.

Hey BTK, I go through "retro" phases too. I also love Echo and the Bunnymen, The Fixx and Psychadelic Furs.
The Airborne Toxic Event is great, I am really into the song, Sometime Around Midnight.
I actually have that video uploaded on my myspace page right now.

Hey Shell,
Living in Switzerland I find I'm a bit behind times in music; I just learned of the "Los Lonely Boys".
As a Texan, what do you think?
I'm a bit of a blues fan, but I know nothing about the Mexican-Blues scene.
Do you
Susan Tedeschii? She's this 85lb woman with a 700hp voice. The last time I saw her she was touring with the Thunderbirds as her back-up band.
What about
Lucinda Williams?

Even though I'm not as chronologically challenged as some posters on here, I enjoy the 50's through the 70's. Mainly horn rock like Chicago, BS&T, Chase and a few others.
I do enjoy the older country like Hank Jr. and a Red Sovine from time to time.
Heck, I was raised on Polka so I suppose my tastes had to become pretty varied.

We went backstage for the Brooks and Dunn concert on my birthday. Rodney Atkins and Randy Houser were there as well. I'm big into country music, but didn't like Randy's. ???
Anyway, I like Country, Oldies, Classic Rock, some Rap and some old R&B.

I must admit to agreement with Mr. Bill here. All music except the stuff about ho's, smokin' crack & gansta killins and the like. Heck, can't understand it any way. And besides, I don't have any hair left on top to be puttin' in dem corn rows, ya schizzle!!!
Classical, Elvis, Moody Blues, The Eagles, Santana, snooze jazz, new country and yada yada yada. Pretty much enjoy it all. Depends on the time of day I guess.
Got a sirius radio for the long haul in the car, all kinds to listen to.
But my main interest will be to hear what "the price on the hoof" will be..............lol (quietly of course).
