Dodgeboy Bob:Both NASCAR and ARCA websites have mutiple articles related to Chase Miller. BHR and Cunninham Motorsports have a proven winner for the Dodge stable. If his rise continues we should look foward to seeing Chase in Busch action in the near future. I just hope no one else is watching him to give him a better contract offer. Dodge needs this kid. Dodge has lost out on some very good driver's that are now driving for Chevy and Toyota (You know who I'm talking about) and can't afford to rest on their laurles with just Kasey Kahne winning for them. Dodge's future in NASCAR is now and they have to show it with Chase leading the way. This kid is the real deal at only 19 yrs. old.
One could say that Chase had an awesome car in Pocono which 'let" him win. One could ALSO say that someone like ME for instance, given the same car would have put that puppy in the wall in turn one on lap two (if I made it through the warm up laps).
There was a collection of fine drivers in that #4 car this year in ARCA, Scott Lagasse, Kevin Swindell, and even F1 driver Juan Montoya, but Chase put the car in victory lane. Give the devil his due, Lagasse would have made victory lane had he not had transmission problems, but that is kind of irrelevant to this discussion (although you could say that Lagasse is another that dodge, or any other team, shouldn't let get away). Bottom line is that there are MANY good young drivers and few good rides. Chase of course is a Georgia boy so that alone makes him good in my book lol, but Brian Kesolowski also found victory lane in a non Dodge supported team as did Blake Bjorklund. Have YOU ever wondered how Dodge "picks" the drivers they put in their 'development" progrsm? I know I have. I wonder what the criteria is.
Again, I'm not speaking ill at all about Chase..........
