On haveing a crew cheif smart enough to keep you on the track when you sucked so bad all day...
and for having a safety crew that saw "something" on the track with 19 laps left in the race...
Once again, your crew bailed you out...
Sorry, had to say it...Ive been quiet since the board changed....
Hey, Mom, thanks for the e-mails, glad to be back....
Good day for the --- crew...since Jr didnt thank his sponsor, I didnt think I needed to mention it either...
well....i am a JR. uhh...fan..lol!!!
debate time!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!! THANKS KARMIS!!! I MISSED YA!!!! LOL!!!
okay...I don't believe Jr sucked all day....I believe his car did...and he stated that on his post race interview..
Crew chief was dealing with the same..a crappy car...
and I give Jr ... for publicly announcing the equipment needs to get better...
maybe thats why he didn't mention his sponsor??????
Karmis...glad to have ya back!!! And your very welcome!!!
Excellent decision to stay out of last pit by Earnhardt today. Moved him up the 6th position. Way to go Jr.....
yes...and with a crappy car..all you can do is points race!!!!!!!!
which is what Eury Jr did...they had no choice..they have to come to the track with what they have...
Of course I started this thread in honor of my new friend, nextelmom...
But the reality is, the 8 TEAM sucked out loud today. If not for one brilliant call by the crew cheif, jr would have been a solid 25th place at best.
So based on the crew chiefs call, it was a great finish by the 8 TEAM...and they deserve credit for a great finish with a crap porduct on the track. That may have been the single call that gets them in the chase...
Jr, did ya see that four letter word I used...."TEAM" perhaps you should read up on it...
JR. IS THE ONE WHO DECIDED TO STAY OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tony Jr. told him on the scanner to do what he wanted!!!!!!!!!!! i was there!!!!!!
yes the car was crap most of the day and at last pit stop Jr. told his crew that they finally got it where he wanted it!
prior to last caution when he didnt pit he was running lap times same as leaders!
he was just to far back without enough time to make it to the front!
he threw the dice and went for it! got a respectable 6th place finish!
WAY TO GO JR.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brickyard Bandit:I have one thing to add, Jr's crew cost him positions on the first three stops, if anyone was listening to Jr's radio they would have known what took place. Pretty easy to second guess though isn't it Karmis?Spent the day at the Brickyard and enjoyed every second of it!
Nothing to second quess at all....They (whoever) rolled the dice and came out a winner. It was a great gamble that paid off.
I give them credit for it. They took a pile of dog crap and made it look like it belonged on the track...that decision made jr look like he is as good as anyone else on the track...that deserves a high five....We know he was a solid 30th place car all day long...Timing IS everything...
Congrats to the --- crew...
I still would like to know what debris was on the track with 19 laps left and why it took 5 laps to clean it up...
