I see she was finally able to win. She found a way not to *** up The Call.

Saw that race..partially anyway..
The IRL series is beyond boring though. There was no excitement whatsoever plus by what I saw there were like less then 300 fans it looked like.
The point of winning races is to be all excited and whatever and they dont even have that on the IRL

You really need to get over the fact that she can drive better than you.
Congrats to her for getting that first win.

All you big macho guys can now shut you pie holes.
There are still a lot of guys in the IRL who have not won yet.

Can you say "LUCKY". Just the fact that drivers and car owners are giving sound bites saying, "she earned it", "it wasn't a fluke", "fuel consumption had little to do with it', etc., well that means luck played a big part but no one is going to come out and say the politically incorrect thing to say. The fact is that she was very lucky this happened when there was not the big fields that we will be seeing from now on.

I'm watching the Long Beach race, 15 minutes to go and they haul Damica into the booth. they couldn't get her back here fast enough. Tony George probably flew her back in an F16. Boy, did the IRL need her to win this race, she is a legitmate "girl" racer now. This win was worth $10 million dollars in PR for the IRL. Tony would rather her win that race than stepson Ed Carpenter. Means a lot to the IRL. Sure it was a fuel situation, but there were a few other drivers using the same strategy and she beat them. That said, she will never win another. PS I had to delete the race about 5 minutes into her Alpha Male mug being on the tv. Poor husband. Maybe I've read her completely wrong, maybe she's a great friendly person, don't think so.
PS # 2. If you missed the Rolex race from Mexico, you missed the best race I've seen in many years. That series could go places. I'd like to see the ALMS race join them to make a great great series. The cars look great. you have several manufacturers involved at a high level. The cars remind me of the old CanAm cars. Lots of passing, especially with the GT cars having about 125 less horsepower. Only problem would be the Corvette factory team. Maybe GM could start a Rolex team using the SS Cobalt or SS Camaro, or just let Pontica be the GM entry. The Audi team, who cares.

Amen brother, amen. First thing I said after she won, we'll never hear the end of it. I was kind of pulling for Sarah Fisher to win first before um...Patrick. Granted, she(Patrick) won and deserves the congratulations. Still, I wonder if the race would have been different had the other drivers left to Long Beach because of the postponed Japan race?
ALMS rocks! I think I would have enjoyed the ALMS race on late Saturday afternoon than the Champcar race. I cancelled my flight and hotel reservations to Long Beach this weekend. I got to listen to the Brits call the race online. Too bad the race wasn't televised live on Saturday. Saw the last part of the race on ABC this morning. Gil Deferran to drive in an Acura car at Utah. First time he's raced in four years. Man are those LMP1 and LMP2 cars nice. Talking about state-of-the-art and quick.

Ratbag, who cares if it was a fluke. I am not a Danica fan, but you have to give her her props. She won the race! You all can put an astrik, etc and say what you want, but she still won. And, yes, TG and all the IRL should love the fact she did.

Well...we know she'll be a contestant this coming fall on "Dancing with the Stars." I think I'll stick to UFO Hunters and Mythbusters.
