MARCOS AMBROSE IN THE No. 59 KINGSFORD/BUSH’S FORD WAS THE RAYBESTOS ROOKIE OF THE RACE AT DAYTONA.  YOU GAINED A FEW POSITIONS OVER THE LAST 10 LAPS.  “It’s just a place to finish.  We started this race just hoping to finish and anything better than a top-20 would be fantastic. I’m really proud of the guys.  They worked with me there.  I’m a Raybestos Rookie out there on the track and I just try to feel my way around.  The track was pretty slick and we over-adjusted there on that last stop.  It’s a shame because I think we could almost run top-10.”  DID THE CHANGE IN WEATHER CONDITIONS MAKE A DIFFERENCE TODAY?  “You couldn’t tell it was warmer when you were in the car [smiles].  The draft is everything.  You just have to learn to ride the draft.  We lost the front pack there and really stopped ourselves from getting a top-10.  We can’t complain because we’ve had a really good day.”  DID YOU HAVE ANY DRAFTING HELP?  “Well, I made ‘em.  I pulled out in their line and they had no choice, really.  Most people were really good to me out there and it was awesome.”  WHAT DOES THIS RUN DO FOR YOUR CONFIDENCE?  “It gets us going forward.  We’ve got Mexico to look forward to and let’s get through California.  We just want to get these first five races under our belt with finishes in every one if we can.  This was a real bogey for us, this track.  We want to get through here.  It’s a bit of a lottery and I’m pleased with the other side of it.”  WHAT DID YOU LEARN TODAY THAT WILL HELP YOU AT TALLADEGA?  “Just be aggressive and set it up loose [smiles].”
