OK, let's get it right.

They won't, but between now and 2009, they have a GREAT chance to set things straight.

I really hope that increased fields and increased dollar flow will lead to constuctor competition and powerplant competition.  I'd really like to see the series with the restricted options similar to the Daytona Prototypes.  Three or four allowed constuctors, restricted in several areas, resulting in similar, competitive cars with real differences and strengths.  Different combinations.

I really like Sean's ideas about shuffling the schedule around.  Lose the cookie cutters, that's too NASCAR.  Lose most street events, they're awful to watch.  Also, I'd much rather see VIR than Richmond.  I'd even be for two events at Pheonix... one on the oval and one on the roval course that the DP's use.

Third, get a new name for this series.  "League" has always just sounded dumb.Crazy [:crazy]

The cars need to be  formulated to race on the tracks that they will race. We don`t need restictors and foot to the floor racing, that`s what Nascar offers at Daytona and Dega, and the IRL on all the ovals they race.
That`s just crap racing.
The ovals should be short and flat, the drivers should have to lift the foot of the accelerator. These Nascar banked ovals are a joke, they are for stock cars...and they should remain that way.
That`s why Tony George is an idiot and his series sucks the big salami alt.

I started to post the same thing this afternoon.  If they're gonna race ovals outside of Indy, they need to use the right foot.  Maybe even reduce downforce.  That would help.  I would even like to see that at Indy, but I will survive without it.
