Here's what happened

Well. When I created my carey von hasselhoff account, I did so at an old location with an old ( now non-existant e-mail addy ). And forgot to change it once I switched internet providers. So my attempt at retreiving a new temporary password was probably being sent to the non existant e-mail addy.
Is it possible to be sent my temporary password to this user so that I can reactivate the carey von hasselhoff account ?

Yep, this happened to my dad, he also doesn't use the e-mail address he signed up with. So he just created a new username. If this can be done, someone please contact me as well so I can help my dad get his old username back.

If in the future you want to have more than one addy just go to hotmail.com and you have ten addys at your fingertips. I believe the same thing is happening when I try to upload my icon it shows my old NWFAN and not the new NWFAN#1. So if anyone can help us, maybe DOC or someone with the knowledge of the sie can help.

I do have a couple of other e-mail addresses. Yahoo, etc. But only one was fixed to my old R1 account.
What would be great would be if a mod could simply pm me the temporary password for the " carey von hasselhoff " account. I suppose if I have to I could abandon it and start all over with this one. But the other one has more character.
You're right though NWFAN. I probably should have used a Yahoo or Hotmail addy for this instead of my personal Outlook addy.

We would love to do that for you, but as of now, the only Moderation that is happening at this site is being done by the site implementation team.
As soon as that phase of the project is completed, we will do what we can to restore your old username. Our apologies to all for the inconvenience this has caused.
