The OFFICIAL American Idol thread

It is that time of the year again!!!  The guys are on tonight - so far, not bad!  I am SO glad that little twerp Josiah did not make it to the final 24 - he was definately smackable material...

It is nice to get a look at and and listen to everyone sing - I am looking forward to this season...

I really liked that guy David Archeluta(sp) tonight.  What personality for 17 years old.  There were quite a few good ones.  Can't wait for the girls to sing!  This might be an exciting year...again!

I liked David A also - the judges are kinda harsh tonight.  Of course, I think I am tone deaf because they all sound good to me!  I actually liked the jail house rock song (I am an Elvis fan though).  That guy with the rag on his head needs to lose the rag - it looks rediculous, I think.  this Peter Frampton look alike might be interesting, however, I think he needs a hair cut! lol!

Yes, the rag head did look strange.  And the long haired Peter Framton looking guy sang like a bird but he just stood there.  Funny thing is, once they make it to fame someone will change everything about them...

This kid playing guitar is cute.  He looks like he is enjoying himself.  I hope he looses those dred locks soon...

I would agree with you NWFAN, however, the ladies did not sing yet, and, the voters are fickle - you never know who will get thrown out - like last year when Gina got thrown out, who woulda thought?  that is what is fun about watching - you just never can tell.

 

Enjoy the show!  I am in AZ in mountain time so the show started at 7 pm for me tonight...

I think the producers need to clue Paula in that the American public has cracked her code and when she says someone has a nice outfit, we know that means she thinks they sucked on thier song. Whatever drugs she's on take a toll on her more and more as the show goes on. The judges should talk less at this point, all the argueing is annoying.

I think there are 3-4 guys that are already locked into the top 12. The rest need to step up a bit..

Yay! My favorite thread is back! OK, let's see here:

David Hernandez is my new AI boyfriend. I think I just like them Mexicans.

David A. is a definite in the top 3, at least. Well, I shouldn't say that, because the girls haven't performed. Eh, I will anyway.

I liked all the "Rockers". Especially the first one to come out. I liked his rendition of that one song I can't think of right now. LOL!

Robbie (bandana dude) is alright. But he has some controversy going on.

Danny, the first Elvis song dude? I can't stand him.

Ditto that to the long haired kid.

Yeager (I think his first name is Justin) sucked.

Jacuzzi, whatever his name is? Don't remember. He's forgetable (sp? Ha! I forgot how to spell forgetable) so far.

The kid with the guitar at the end was good. He didn't look nervous at all, until afterwards. Then I wanted to cry for him. ROFL 1 [:rofl1]

 

Soooo, long haired kid or Yeager are probably out, IMO.
