Years ago when I belonged to the Teamsters and then to the Carpenters Union they were always telling us how to vote. Regretfully most guys voted exactly as the union rep told them to. I always thought I could think and reason for myself and having someone tell me how to vote was un American. Last election I was building a store in Illinois and the general contractor had all union carpenters building the shopping center and everyone of them were voting for Kerry. Their rep had cnvinced them the dems created jobs and the repubs shipped jobs overseas.
