What if they had a race and no one showed up

Bahrain; Varsha said the track has the fewest seats on the circuit, 30,000 seats. If it seats 30,000 then there could not have been more than 5,000 people there. The place was empty, a person here, a person there, unreal. I think the country is the problem. A couple thousand people (royal family) have 99% of the oil wealth, similar to other middle east dirt bag countries, so no on can afford to attend.

Amazing what some people do with their money, like hold what looked like a private F1 race. That`s why I never bought into A1GP.
Oh well, just imagine Elliot Spitzer with all that wealth. LOL

The F1 race in Bahrain is aiming to become the IRL of the Middle East with large numbers of fans at the track wearing outfits that make them appear as if they are aluminum grandstand seats.

Oh snap! That's too dam funny. I only wish that could have been put on Opie circa 2006.

A private F! race. Exactly what it looked like. Would be interesting to hear from someone who was actually there, who dared tell the world the number of people who attended the premier racing series in the world event in Bahrain. Just a billionaire shiek holding his own private race, inviting relatives/friends of the teams and a few in the royal family and getting his mug on tv. "Hey look at our country, we have an F! race, we're really something'.

Besides there not being anyone at the race... was the racing action any good? Normally when I watch a race I could care less who was in the stands as long as the racing was good.
Doc.
