Concerning Kyle Busch and the missing lug nut.
He was complaining about brakes early in the race. He called the car pathetic, which in effect, is calling his crew pathetic.
This name-calling was happening while he was running second or leading the race.
Do you think his crew had a mishap in order to send young Mr. Busch a message?
That mishap occurred with plenty of time to make up the penalty. Kyle Busch didn't make much in the way of derogatory comments after that mishap.
Just curious as to what your thoughts are. Please keep it civil.

If I was on his crew and he was talking bad about me and I was doing my job, YES, I certainly would be sending him a CLUE! And if he kept on with putting me down, the next time it would cost him a lap! Might lose my job, but satisfaction is PRICELESS!!!!!
1 lug nut a few seconds
2 lugs MORE seconds
4 lugs and a wheel coming off PRICELESS!!

In other races, i have heard the drivers complaining about there car and remember when martin was running those crappy ford cars and he would say his was junk!!!
I can see what martin was talking about because those ford cars are junk!!!
I don't think the drivers are talking about the crew, just the car is not set up properly and that would lie on the driver who told the crew during practice of how to setup the car!!!
but the crew could have set it up improperly!!!

My thoughts run more along the lines of "Old School" Larry McReynolds:
When #18 was whining and cryin' 'bout the brakes.........after you've told me about it once, that's good enough. Nothing to be gained by constantly griping and complainin'.
"Well jus' bring the thing on in and park it.......and we'll change the brakes."

Maybe his crew is wishing they could have JJ back instead. I'm sure he was much nicer on the radio as he ran around in 30th.

I think that's a ridiculous idea.

No way does the crew drop a lug nut on purpose. They have more pride than that.

Maybe this is a little off tune but IMO my thoughts in general.
Thanks for your post and it is well taken. It is apparent here who likes to open a thread for the purpose of just having fun . As far as the consistand bashers? We all know who they are and they know who they are.
More than anything here I just like to have fun and chat about what I love most, auto racing. Yes, some drivers I do not care for and others, well, they are at the top of my list for just doing a good job. I do not have "a favorite driver" but at this time Kyle Busch is showing what he is made out of. He is a true racer who lives on the edge at all times. He shows everyone else 'the way around the track'. He is a true champion, bar none.
If all of the drivers in the top 42 were not "great racecar drivers" they would be number 43 on down. They are all great without exception and deserve the utmost of credit. To consistantly spew the same garbage post after post with all the derogitory remarks just shows lack of character. Call it what you like, lack of character will rear its ugly head time after time. So, hat's off to all the mods for doing a good job of being "the police" and keep up the good work.

I couldn't care less what he says to his crewchief....Baby Busch still sucks.
And, that is civil compared to what I'd like to say.
