Anyone who was watching funny car eliminations from the Winternationals at Pomona had to be shocked to see Tony Pedregon`s engine explosion and fire. He was racing John Force, who is just now coming back from injuries last year. Tony was interviewed and seemed to have minor burns on his hands at least. His drivers suit was tattered in the area around his knees. Hope that he is OK. It was scary spectacular.
