I get to go to Volusia for the first, and probably only time this year. 
Should I order reserve tickets or will walk up still get me a good seat?
Thoughts on the best place to watch the races from?  I usually like to sit on turn 1 or 4, but definitely near a corner.
Will be staying in Orlando.  Looks like about a 40 minute drive on the map, but any past experience with that drive?

Any one else going?  Not sure how much time I will be able tospend at the track, but would like to meet any of you who will be there.

We go to Volusia every year for vacation and it is some pretty good racing, We stay in Orlando, by Sea World and it takes about 45-1 hr depending on the traffic.  Can't help you with seating as every year we are in the pits
We take I-4East up to 472 to 17/92 and then you can either follow 17 to hwy 40 or 11 to hwy 40, been both ways not much difference either way.

NWFan... what days will you be in Volusia? I should be there on Feb 3-8 I think. I fly in on the 2nd and fly out on the 9th, so I'm not gonna count those days.  I think Doc (Nailbender) is gonna be there too....

Not sure yet but will be staying up north in a national park.  Cheaper that way.  We should be there about the same time though.  Going to concentrate on makin the 500 also, hang out with JLB and the boyz I guess...take some good pics kay?

Will do Rim........ I'll make you proud...  I graduated with honors from Wazzu for having a GOOD TIME...  ... so that shouldn't be a problem.  I think I might even remember how to take a picture or two... ....

LOL... well.... there are some years when they'd be better off doing away with the football program. But they have had a few good years in there too. I'm old enough to remember Drew Bledsoe at Wazzu........

Frizz.....it is Saturday night....around 9:45....I am home alone.  I am going to "assume" you are home alone.

Any chance you might "fall" for an OLD guy......really UGLY.....a little "chubby" no hair.......but I DO HAVE MY TEETH?????

I would promise to serenade you, cook for you, clean house, buy you a new umbrella on a regular basis and, ON MOST NIGHTS, be in bed by 9:30 !!!!!!!   Doesn't that sound exciting?   And,  by the way, I don't snore, I sleep through the night (not like those REALLY OLD MEN who have to get up two or three times to go take a .........uh.......look out the window!
I am broke, drive a little Toyota that wants to be a REAL car when it grows up.  Gee, I think I am bring a lot to the table come to think of it!!!!!
