CONGRATS TO TONY P

And how refreshing to see a single car team win out. If I could make the rules there would be point reductions for multi-car teams in NHRA and NASCAR. AND if a team/owner was caught hiding a team then the punishment would be a lifetime ban.

Um, you do realize that his brother Cruz is a teamate? I would have loved to see Tony win a title under the old points system. If he could have done it by beating Force (John) in a final to do it, would have made it even better. If we are stuck with this points system, I see my interest fading big time. We would have had a great ending without their contrived points system. I feel bad for Rod Fuller most of all. Who knows if he'll ever get that close again? Cory Mac once finished second by just a few points after he skipped the race in Canada. I'm sure he thought that he'd win one ....didn't happen. Finished second 4 times I believe.

330>>>"""Um, you do realize that his brother Cruz is a teamate"""

Perhaps I missed something; I did know the entry list shows them both from the same town, but I've never known they belonged to the same team.

Do you know the team owners name??

And I still think the countdown is stinky.

Stinky doesn't come close to how I feel about it. Cruz and Tony each own their own car but it's still pretty much under one banner. Website: http://www.cruzpedregon.com/
